This Papal Bull has been inscribed on the date of Tenth of December, in the Twentieth and First century of our Lord.
(i.)URGED BY FAITH, we are obliged to believe and to maintain that the Church is one, holy, catholic, and also apostolic. It is thus in our view and the view of the singularity of Christ that this rock that is our church must do all it can to defend, propagate, and regulate the actions of its subjects across the world. It is the duty of the church to maintain orthodoxy in all places, high to low, poor to rich, powerful to not powerful, pious and unpious. If we as Christians fail to meet the vile words of heresy, it will infect the blood of our faith, and tear the body of the temple of Christ to pieces.
(ii.)Therefore, of the one and only Church there is one body and one head, not two heads like a monster; that is, Christ and the Vicar of Christ, Peter and the successor of Peter. It is from this infallible opinion that the states of Austria and Poland-Prussia have disobeyed the teachings of the mother church and apostatized rather than seek reconciliation with the true See of Rome. This grievous act was done in the full knowledge that the subject of their discontent, the antipope Francisus, has been long dead. Thus, the peoples of Austria and Poland-Prussia are placed immediately under excommunication and interdiction. They are to be denied all Catholic Sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, The Eucharist, Penance and Reconciliation, Anointing of The Sick, Last Rites, Christian Burial, and Matrimony. All states are to refuse trade with these countries, and borders to be closed to them and their citizens expelled. Any of their financial assets in the Vatican's banks are frozen as of now. Cardinal Dueze will oversee the Inquisition of Austria until orthodoxy is sufficiently restored. The Papissa and Curia has saw it fit to enforce this excommunication with the ritual of anathema by Bell, Book, and Candle. The transcript of this is recorded in section three. Governments and churches in the neighboring countries in Germany, Russia, and Balkans have been notified of this.
(iii.) "Wherefore in the name of God the All-powerful, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, of the Blessed Peter, Prince of the Apostles, and of all the saints, in virtue of the power which has been given us of binding and loosing in Heaven and on earth, we deprive him and all his accomplices and all his abettors of the Communion of the Body and Blood of Our Lord, we separate him from the society of all Christians, we exclude him from the bosom of our Holy Mother the Church in Heaven and on earth, we declare him excommunicated and anathematized and we judge him condemned to eternal fire with Satan and his angels and all the reprobate, so long as he will not burst the fetters of the demon, do penance and satisfy the Church; we deliver him to Satan to mortify his body, that his soul may be saved on the day of judgment."
Written by Her Holiness Papissa Clementia XV, episcopus servus servorum Dei.
